Birthday.

So I have had a really good birthday today! I enjoyed it so much that I have decided you are all cool enough to hear about it as well.

At 9:00 a.m. my friend from work took me out to breakfast! I told him he needed to surprise me with where we were going. He told me that when I saw where he was taking me I would be asking him if he was serious. He drove to the mall, and was driving towards where we park for work. And I was thinking, 'seriously? You're taking me to chick-fil-a for breakfast?' I was laughing. But then Zach told me he was joking, and we went to Mimi's Cafe.

He got the french toast, and I got a Cinnamon Broche (spelling?...) french toast. I really enjoyed it. It was super sweet, but super delicious. It was so fun to gettig to talk to Zach outside of work, and i'm thankful for the time he took to start my birthday out with a bang.

Later on I played Harry Potter Scene it with my mom and sister. I love that game. Sometimes I disturb myself with how much I know about those dang Harry Potter moives though...

Then we went to Five Guys for dinner!! It beats in 'n out by a landslide.

If you've ever been there, you'll know that they have peanuts you can eat while waiting for your food.

We had a peanut that looked kinda like ET. Creepy.

After snacking our burgers were done!! The greatest moment ever. We got one large fry to share with everyone because they give you a massive amount of fries.

I got mine as a cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, grilled onions, grilled shrooms, ketchup, and mustard.

Worlds largest cup of fries. With amazing fry sauce on the side.

After lunch/dinner we crossed the street to the movie theater. We watched the Hobbit again! This was my third time seeing it, and it was still awesome.

And when we came home, I had my birthday cake. My mom made me a chocolate chip cheesecake with an oreo crust. I have to say that it was very yummy.

Doesn't my piece look perfect?

And now i'm finishing off my day by watching Groundhog Day. Classic.

Breakin the Rules

Today my day started out kind of shakey. I woke up at 10:30 a.m. freaking out because I had work at 11. That gave me aprox. 15 minutes to get ready. My hopes of taking a shower flew out the window instantly. I managed to get ready in time though! Score.

The roads were icy, and I almost died walking into work, but i'm still here to tell the tale, so crisis averted. No worries there. Then after work I almost died as I was about 6.3 inches from my car. But again, still alive.

The instant I walked into my apartment I ran to the shower so that I could cleanse myself. I forget how much I love taking showers in the afternoon. Is that weird? I just like it...

Me and Rosie decided that today we were going to break the rules of our south beach diet (because it is the end of phase 1 and beginning of phase 2, which caused for a pretty dang awesome reward.) So we went to Costa Vida for dinner. That was very scrumptious.

Then we had fhe at my apartment. We had a lesson about keeping an eternal perspective. That was a great little reminder. My mind is going crazy thinking about all the different things. Maybe I need to go to sleep and wrap my head around everything so that I can make a plan to apply that to my life. For our activity we did puzzles. I got these puzzles at the dollar store, hoping that our family would enjoy them.

The Boba Fett one glows in the dark. After it was all built, we turned off the lights to see if it would glow. We discovered that it needed more time to charge in the light. So instead of picking up the puzzle and putting it up to the light (which doesn't work btw. It breaks.) they decided to lift up the whole coffee table and put the puzzle directly under the light. After about a minute, they put the table down and turned off the lights. It really glowed! It wasn't super great quality, but it was a buck. I was satisfied.

After puzzles/fhe, me and Rosie went to Menchies to finish off our breaking the rules/celebration. I got a free icecream from them because it is my birthday week. I got my usual chocolate with reeses an peanut butter/fudge sauce. Super good.

I really had a good time today. Despite the rocky start. Have a nice night.

Birthday Breakfast at Joe's Cafe

So today is my friend Hillary's birthday! Woo hoo! So Rosie had the idea to go to this place called Joe's Cafe. Hillary and I had never been there before, but Rosie had. It was delicious! The food kind of took a long time, but it was totally worth it. Here are some pictures of our food.

I got the Western Omelet with hash browns. Lots of food? Yeah! But it was sooo delicious! The omelet was layered with the different foods like bacon, green peppers, tomatoes, 900 different cheeses, and eggs. the hashbrowns were alright. I also haad some toast.

This is Rosie's burger. It is called Joe's Ultimate Burger. It was ultimate alright. It was quite large. However, me and Hillary had a taste of the hamburger patty, and it was divine. Very well flavored. I really want to try a burger next time I go here.

This is Hillary's pile of pancakes. Literally a pile. But they are small. I didn't taste one, but they smelled very good. Like they had a good flavor. And they were fluffy.

This is my omelet after stuffing myself to the brim. I know it doesn't look like I ate much, but I did. It was so much food! I did save the leftovers though. They are in my fridge right now :)

Rosie ate half of her hamburger. Quite the accomplishment! Again, we saved the leftovers.

Hillary ate about half of her pancakes. She also had eggs and bacon on the side though. You can kind of see them in the right. So she accomplished a lot as well!

So that was Joe's Cafe!!! I really hope you get to try it sometime. It was tasty. And happy birthday Hillary!
