Happy Memorial Day to everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday today. I sure did. The first thing we did was go to visit my Uncle Travis's grave. I don't really remember him, but I love that we go to see him every year. I am so thankful for the blessing of the plan of salvation so that we can be reunited with our loved ones again. Memorial Day always reminds me of this blessing.
After doing that, we went to the Armory (where my dad works) to clean. We do this every week, but since I usually work I haven't done it for awhile. Dang it! I thought I would never have to do it again ;) Just kidding, it is always a good opportunity to spend time with family. I feel like when my family works together we grow a lot closer to each other.
Later in the afternoon we had a BBQ. It was delish. You have to have BBQ's on memorial day. I mean seriously. We had hot dogs, corn on the cob, strawberries w/ whipped cream, and chips and soda. I loved it. We then went up the canyon and just kind of walked around. We brought Kujo, and she kind of got annoying so we left. But that was still fun!
Then we apparently had a cleaning assignment at the church. On memorial day? I was really bugged at first. But we had the opportunity to clean the chapel. Whenever I clean the chapel I feel really blessed for that opportunity. I know that I am preparing it for Sunday, where the sacred ordinance of the Sacrament takes place. I feel good that I was able to prepare the church building for that.
Enjoy the rest if this day :)
Thanks to all the soldiers who have given/are giving so much to this country protecting our freedoms. Especially my Dad. I love him! :)

Yep, I Have a Problem
So remember the post when I was debating whether to buy that blue shirt or not? And how I said if I got it I would stop spending my money on clothes?...Well...funny story. I bought a skirt and a necklace today. And I may or may not have spent 50 dollars on them...But they are SUPER cute. I can't even get over it. The skirt is a maxi skirt. Meaning it is long and flowy and comfy.
So the skirt is like tan and a mauve type color. It is super cute. I couldn't get a good picture though.

And this necklace is my favorite. I couldn't straighten in out very well, but this gives you the general idea. I hope you like it! :)

Wizarding Collection
So remember how the Harry Potter movies are no longer sold in stores because they are going to re-release them? I thought that was just some stupid thing they were doing so they could get more money. well, this may be true, but I just looked at the website (www.harrypotter.com) and it kind of convinced me. It will be a 31 disc set. 31? That's just insane. I wonder how much it will cost. If anyone knows, tell me. I must plan for this.
Also, I am very excited for the seqeuls of Captain America and Thor. Yes there will be sequels. It is ok to scream. I can't wait either.
That is all.

Icecream and Boys
So tonight was the best night I have had in a loong time! Me and a few of my friends went to Institute together tonight and had an AWESOME class. Just sayin, it was pretty great. After institute, we went to Farr's Fresh to get icecream. If you haven't been there, go there. It is the best soft serve icecream you will ever eat. And you make it yourself. You can't beat that.
That is not my picture by the way...
So while eating our icecream we caught up with everyone's lives and just talked. It was so great. Of course the main subject of our conversation was boys. I mean can you beat that? Uh, that's a big fat no. You can't beat boys ;) haha...
I love summer because that means all of my friends are home from school and we have the time to do stuff together. I didn't realize how much I did not know about what was going on with most of these girls! This is all I have to say right now. So i'll leave you with this. Sleep tight everyone :)

Memories in a Box
So remember when i said I was going to go through my room and put things in a box that I wanted to be saved? Well I did it. My room is organized and clean. I will show some pictures of it.
This is the bin chuck full of so many memories. I am not going to lie, I got teary eyed when I was looking at some of my favorite things from my childhood. That sounds silly, but it was very hard for me to pack them away. Here are some of my favorite things that I am saving. Enjoy them as much as I do :)
This is a post card that I got from my dad when he was in Honduras. There are also letters from my dad while he was in Iraq in there. Those are very touching memories that I never want to lose.
These are my beanie babies. I LOVED them. In order their names are: Ty2k, Princess(I called her Amethyst after my birthstone), Prickles, and Rainbow. Rainbow looks like Pascal don't you think?
I kind of collected Barbie's, and this is my favorite one. Snow White, never been opened :)
This is a gold medal that I got during a Tae Kwon Do tournament. I have several and they remind me of how much work I put in to it and how it paid off. Also in the box are all of my Tae Kwon Do belts and broken boards from my test. I never want to forget those things.
This is a bag that my mom made for me when I was WAY little. It is a little bag that I would always put my favorite things into so I could just carry them around with me.
So now that those are said and done, I wanted to show you the after pictures of my room. My closet is organized, and everything is clean.
So yeah, that is what I have been doing for the past couple of days. I am glad that it is out of the way and I don't have to worry about any of my prized possesions getting lost. It will be fun to open that bin one day and remember all the sweet things from my past. I am so glad that they are saved :) I strongly encourage everyone else to take the time to do that as well. (And now I won't have to do it later when I get married)
Good night everyone! Sleep tight.

I have too many shoes, just ignore that. But this is them all together and organized. That will not last long. Trust me. Below is my closet. Believe me, that is organized compared to what it was before. If you look in the upper left corner you will see an old Sports drink. I found it among my old Tae Kwon Do stuff. That means that it is like 6+ years old. No I will not throw it away because it will soon be an antique.

Day Off
So tomorrow is my only day off of work this week. So I decided that I should be productive with it. I need to organize my room and go through everything that I want to keep and what to give away. I figure I should do that before I move out. I've noticed that I have way too much stuff shoved in my closet and desk drawers. I need to decide what has enough sentimental value to keep forever. I will probably share before and after pictures of my transformation. Because it will be quite the transformation. So until then, I'll leave you with a funny picture that I saw on Pinterest today. At least I got a kick out of it.
Enjoy. Have a good night one and all.

Mother's Day
I wanted to post something for my AWESOME mom for Mother's Day. She is pretty much the coolest lady I know. I don't know where I would be with out her. Not only is she awesome, but she has an excellent sense of humor. Her sense of humor is so great, that everyone wants to be around her. It kind of makes me sad that I have to share her with other people :( But hey, that just proves what a great mom she is!
My mom has always been there for me when I needed her the most. She is always supportive of the decisions I make. And when I make a bad decision, she helps me to correct it. Support is such an important thing, and she has always given it to me.
She is also one of the biggest examples I have had in my life. My testimony is as strong as it is right now because of her. She has taught me to make the right decisions no matter what others think of me, or how hard it might be. She has taught me that everyone is important to our Heavenly Father, no matter what they do or have done. I could say so many more things that she has taught me, but that would make for a very long post :)
I choose this picture of me and my mom (and dad) because it means so much to me. I don't know that I would have graduated from High School with out my mom. She supported me so much through out the years. Especially at the end of High School, I can't even put into words how much I am glad that she was there. I will always be so very thankful for her and her patience and love. I love you mom! I hope you had a great day today. :)
And to make Mother's Day even better, we got to Skype with Josh. He is doing well and is very happy. I am very thankful for the technology available to be able to talk to his face. What a wonderful Sunday it has been.

It's Better to Look Up
So I decided to post something today :) I don't have awesome news to share, so I will just talk about what i've been up to lately!
My life mostly consists of working as of late. I noticed that when at work, when I get tired I tend to be negative with myself and kind of unhappy. So I started (yesterday) that I would listen to conference talks on my phone while driving to work rather than listening to the garbage on the radio. Wow. It has totally been making a difference. Yesterday I listened to one about patience, and when I found myself getting impatient with someone at work (or myself), the words from the talk would start going through my head. It is awesome. I mean my day is never perfect, but that is a small thing that I can do to keep me happy and to help me keep an eternal perspective. It is becoming to easy to lose sight of what is important. There are so many distractions.
I am thankful for the inspiration I got from my Heavenly Father to turn off the radio and turn on my phone yesterday. I know that this is what I need to do right now, and i'm lovin it! I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes that kind of goes with what I have been feeling.

Sunday.
I hope everyone had a good Sunday today! I had an especially good one. Fast Sunday's always seem to leave a deeper mark on me. I love hearing the testimonies in Sacrament meeting. It reasures me that everything will be okay and that God has a great love for everyone.
Relief Society was about the power of the Priesthood. I am so extremely blessed to be surrounded by so many men who are worthy to hold and exercise their Priesthood. I don't know where I would be with out it. The church wouldn't even exist on the Earth today with out it.
On another note...It is kind of a thing in our family to have some form of a treat on Sunday nights. It is usually gaggies (no bake cookies eaten in liquid form out of bowls) which are delicious. But tonight Erika "made" brownies. I say "made" because they were a boxed mix. They were delicious, and a little under cooked. Which makes them even better. I love gooey brownies.
And to top off the whole Sunday, we got an email from Josh :) I don't need to say anything more. That was just awesome. www.elderjoshliddle.blogspot.com is where you can read the post for yourself. I want to end with saying how much I love my family. They are awesome. Even when they are half way accross the world ;) Have a good Sunday everybody!!!

Clothes. Clothes. Clothes.
Hello hello everyone. It has been a pretty good day. It basically consisted of work. But I got my paycheck! It was for a little over 300 dollars. I made that much in 2 weeks. That pleases me. I will now be able to pay rent when I move out. That's a good thing, right? So I am the kind of person that has no self control when I have money. I like clothes. And I want to buy clothes. And there is this one shirt that I REALLY want! But I don't know if I should get it. Here it is...
Feedback. Is it worth it to get this shirt? It is 24.99. I'd say that is a good deal. And I would wear it a lot. I need to know.
Anyways, peace out. I'm tired.
